Two cousins, Lakshman Kharadvansin and Lakshmi Vani deciphered Sanskrit manuscripts and Egyptian hieroglyphs containing sketchy references to an advanced civilization that vanished over ten thousand years ago. They located a rocky mountain complex deep in the Sahara Desert that did not appear on any map. It sheltered the hidden dwellings and fortresses known as Dagad Trikon, the Triangle Rock that was the home and last refuge of a lost race, the Avasthas. The Dagad Trikon hideaway was ruled by the secret power of a goddess, the Lady of the Rock.
Avasthas lived by the values of innocence, truth and love. They sought above all to receive the Gift, the elixir of bliss. They were insightful seers and powerful warriors. However, over the millennia and despite their profound knowledge, they could not cope with the sheer wickedness of the evil forces led by the arch devil Thanatophor, assisted by his chief lieutenants Hangker and Belzebseth. Aware of their impending doom, the Avasthas consigned the codes of their magic powers to ten caskets that were entrusted to flying riders and dispatched to secret destinations all over the planet.
The Wheel of Ages turned, and much of the goodness in the world was slowly crushed. Gentleness, honor, generosity, and many of the qualities that keep the heart alive gradually faded away. At the opening of this, the third millennium, the evil effects of the Riders of Thanataphor have penetrated the collective attention of mankind, the darkest corners of the human psyche. Nevertheless, if modern man can absorb the secret knowledge of the Avasthas, the plot of Thanatophor to destroy human civilization and enslave the earth will fail.
The Breaking of the Seventh Seal narrates how the returned Avasthas must solve the riddles of the blue and yellow feathers in order to progress from the Outer World of human interactions to the Inner World of spiritual endowment and powers. It is only when this knowledge is readily available to all that Thanatophor's plot will be defeated on earth and the Great Schism of man's split identity will be overcome.
Readers comments on the Czech language edition, known there as The Return of the Avasthas include:
"The book is so great and energetically powerful, that after having read just a few pages I always had to stop and let it work within me. Thank you!"
Oldrich Kylsan, Bohemia
"The Legend of Dagad Trikon speaks to me both in its complexity and simplicity at the same time, and by its beauty. It makes you aware how much those who aren't interested in the seeking of their spirit miss; what adventures they miss. It is simply beautiful reading, when you feel nice warmth in your heart and satisfaction and the desire to be able to keep this feeling forever and spread the joy to others."
Kristyna Kucerova, Bohemia
"The Legend makes an immense impression on me – it feels like a sort of entrance gate into the endless inner universe of man, the description, map and the 'fly sheet' of what we really are."
Leos Malena, Znojmo,Moravia
"To me, meeting the Legend was the beginning of a series of small miracles. The story itself started drawing me inside at the very first reading, in the same way as the main heroes felt inevitably drawn into the mystery of Avasthas saga against their will, and gradually I found myself a part of it, experiencing its impact on my own life, made by some higher force to translate it for my countrymen. This is such a powerful and vivid book––it pulsates with inner life and echoes from our ancient memories hidden between the lines, that help us recall what we had once known, it offers many levels on which one can walk through it. A well-known astrologer from Prague didn't hesitate to compare it to the Bible, saying it contains everything important about the history of the Creation and the evolution of man. And for me, the most important message of the second volume is that we can learn more about those who move evolution to a higher level; as one of the conditions of the Game is to recognize them at the end of the day."
Marta Heinlova, Czech Republic
