Neha Sharma says:
'Among my most prized possessions are the words I have not spoken' Orson Scott Card In the gross world, where minds are driven by logic and reasoning, and hearts are shadowed by doubts and fears, poetry offers the necessary freeway to our innermost thoughts, the reservoir of emotions gushing to find solace in the company of another poet or anyone who finds a suitable audience. I find myself transported to another level of serenity when I sit down to write poetry. Never mind the noisy street that my balcony overlooks! My poems are an effort to explore the significance and the ever-growing need for spirituality in these modern times, in a contemporary manner, not necessarily sermon-like but what is fun, quirky at times. I seek to bring relevance and continued presence of spirituality that is sustaining our world where the general populace, irrespective of continents, may not realize how we are all unified by one spiritual energy which is given different names in different religions and cultures around the globe. I also seek to showcase the language of the subtle system present in the human anatomy, wishing from the depths of my heart that the realm of the divine, which seems mystical to many, does not remain unexplored, un-understood anymore.
